we are gathered here today to say goodbye, and yet, also, to say hello. in these pages you will meet death in all of her beauty and all of her harshness and all of her pain.

in the passing of all of the souls who have passed through this world before us, we have been granted a rich history from which to learn. may we never forget those that we have loved, and those that they loved, and on and on and on. death is as natural as breathing, and is heartbreaking nonetheless.
